The Internet and Computing Core Certification (IC3) is an internationally developed and recognised symbol of digital literacy. Developed by a team of subject matter experts from around the world, IC³ accurately and thoroughly represents the Digital Literacy skills needed in today’s fast-paced technology world.

The Internet & Computing Benchmark & Mentor resource now provides a method for measuring an individual's digital literacy abilities. The Benchmark takes a snapshot of an individual's skills while the Mentor resource provides and individual with three levels of assistance, allowing that person to reach the certification standard which is IC3.

Successful completion of IC³ ensures that an individual has the knowledge and skills required for today’s Digital Society. On completion of IC³, an individual will have an understanding of basic use of computer hardware, software, networks, computer applications i.e. Word processing, Spreadsheets and Presentations, the Internet and Email.

To become IC³ certified, you must pass the following THREE EXAMS:
